Lot Description
A George III silver twin-handled sugar bowl, of urn shaped form with gadrooned rim border, fluted lower body and engraved crest, upon a stepped circular base with pellet border, the whole raised upon four ball feet. Hallmarked London 1816, maker's mark partly distorted I.?. Height measuring 3 7/8 inches (9.8 cm), weight 6.8 ozt (213 grams).

Condition Report
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The gilded interior bowl appears fairly dull. Possibly had a cover. Remnants of polish visible and some signs of Verdigris beneath the base. Maker's mark partly distorted I.?, other hallmarks slightly rubbed and worn but still legible.
