Lot Description
A small selection of items to include an early twentieth century silver mounted photograph frame, the oval aperture with conforming surround and easel back support verso, hallmarked J & R Griffin Ltd., Chester 1917, height measuring 7 1/8 inches (18.2 cm). Together with a pair of Edwardian silver mounted cut-glass vases, hallmarked Birmingham 1903, an Edwardian silver vanity pot with an embossed removable lid, Birmingham 1902, a modern Italian cylindrical holder with embossed panels of grape vines, marked 925 alongside the Italian national mark and a heart shaped box. Gross weighable silver 5.5 ozt (171.7 grams).

Condition Report
In varied state, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The material joining the back of the frame to the easel support has split and has significant remnants of polish. Minor chips and nibbles to the cut-glass vases. The vanity pot has noticeable holes to the embossed decoration on the lid and significant loss of definition. The cylindrical holder is marked 925 alongside the modern Italian national mark, possibly for Pisa, further marked Shine beneath a pictorial leaf, the interior is lined with a green bay and there is sticker residue to the base. The heart shaped box is base metal. Hallmarks rubbed and worn but still just legible.
