Lot Description

A miniature figure, probably Chinese, modelled with a man standing on and operating a handcar. Character mark to the base alongside number 85. Length measuring 4.5 cm, maximum height 5.8 cm, gross weight 17.9 grams.

The figure displays some tarnishing and general surface wear, marks and scratches. The bar the man is holding is now at a slant and one hand is no longer fixed to it. Further knocks and dints to the other parts. The see-saw action of the walking beam appears in working order. The marks are legible.
