Condition Report
The rattle appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. A few cracks and possible repairs to main body. Further damage to suspension bells, some with creases or dints and some appear compressed. Hallmarks are located at the base of the stem of main body and are clear and legible, maker's mark located to whistle and is slightly clipped by the crest, so this may have been later engraved? Suspension bells with lion passant mark, mainly distorted and one with hole through. Case in a worn and used state.
