A Chinese export belt buckle, each section of shaped oblong form with a cut-out character mark surrounded by bamboo leaves within a raised floral border. Marked 90 alongside a character mark and possible maker's mark HPK? to the hook only. Maximum width measures 3 6/8 inches (9.7 cm), gross weight 1.2 ozt (38 grams).

Condition Report
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The cut-out character marks are different to each section of the buckle, both pieces have a bar to loop the belt through and join together with a hook and loop. Minor loss of definition to the decoration with some remnants of polish visible. Marks clear and legible.
