An early twentieth century silver mounted jewellery box, of kidney shape and raised on four foliate feet, the hinged lid with engine-turned decoration and centrally engraved panel 'Little Sister', hallmarked Synyer & Beddoes, Birmingham 1911, length measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm). Together with a further silver mounted jewellery box of oval form with tortoiseshell lid, hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., London 1911 and with possible French guarantee marks, length measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm), (a.f), plus two oriental style metal boxes, one with character mark. (4).
