Lot Description
Two continental enamel boxes, each of rounded rectangular form and decorated throughout in cloisonné enamel with stylised flowers and foliage in shades of mainly blue, turquoise and green with hints of yellow and red, the hinged cushion shape lid further decorated with a floral painted enamel panel and opening to a gilt interior. Both impressed S925 to base. Measuring 2 1/4 inches (5.7 cm) by 2 inches (5cm), gross weight 6.25 ozt (194.5 grams).

Condition Report
Both boxes display general surface wear, marks and scratches. The base of each box displays heavier wear with many deeper scratches, some minor surface dints and gilding worn around the edges. Slight movement to hinges but appear in working order and lids close flush. Some slight losses and damage to enamel, especially to one base corner. Colours still appear quite bright. Surface scratches and marks to the enamel panels and colours appear faded. Gilding to interiors appears quite bright. Some indistinct marks to interiors near to hinges.
