Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver mounted jewellery box of plain trefoil form, the hinged lid opening to reveal a material lined interior and raised upon three pad feet. Hallmarked Birmingham 1920, maker's mark partly distorted possibly Charles S Green & Co Ltd. Width measures 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm).

In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hinged does not shut securely and is quite loose, with a slight overhang to the front. Maker's mark partly distorted other hallmarks rubbed but still legible.
