A William IV Scottish silver snuff box, the curved and rounded rectangular form plain in design with hinged lid opening to a silver-gilt interior. Hallmarked William Cunningham, Edinburgh 1831. Measuring 3 1/4 inches (8.2 cm) by 1 7/8 inches (4.8 cm), weight 3.72 ozt (115.8 grams).

Condition Report
The snuff box appears in good overall condition, displaying some tarnishing and expected surface wear, marks and scratches in keeping with the age and use. Some minor dints/knocks to rounded corners. No personal engravings. Hinged lid appears in good working order. Some heavier marks and scratches to interior and an area of surface erosion. Hallmarked fully to interior base and lid reverse, all clearly legible.
