A modern silver novelty caddy spoon, realistically modelled as a jockey cap, with a vacant shield cartouche to the peak, hallmarked Harrison Brothers & Howson Ltd., Sheffield 1989, length measures 2 1/8 inches (5.4 cm). Together with an imported Edwardian silver novelty bird cage, of polygonal wirework form with a lockable hinged door and a perched bird upon a suspended loop ring to the interior, hallmarked Isaac Manheim, London 1903, alongside the Foreign mark and possible Dutch assay marks. Gross weight 1.6 ozt (50 grams). (2).

Condition Report
In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The bird cage door is slightly bent and the catch has to be turned a specific way in order for it to shut, the lock is currently not functioning. The bird cage would benefit from a clean and polish, the interior has dirt residue. The base is marked 930 alongside possible Dutch assay marks including a possible sword mark, the suspension ring to the top of the cage is marked with the Foreign mark and lion passant. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible.
