Lot Description

A George III Scottish silver serving spoon, of Fiddle pattern with engraved initialled terminal, hallmarked John Graham, Edinburgh 1813, length measuring 9 2/8 inches (23.8 cm). Together with a George IV Scottish silver serving spoon, of Fiddle pattern with engraved initialled terminal, hallmarked Glasgow 1821, maker's mark partly obscured, tentatively attributed to David McDonald, a George V silver napkin ring with engraved name and a 1930's silver server spoon. Gross weight 9.8 ozt (304.8 grams). (4).

In overall fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The Scottish serving spoons have blue/white tac residue to the interior of the bowls, contact marks from possible tape to the stem and bowls and engraved initial to the terminal. All three spoons have red wax/paint residue to the stems. The napkin ring is engraved 'Margery'. All pieces would benefit from a clean and polish. Hallmarks clear and legible.
