Lot Description

A set of six Maltese silver spoons, each of Fiddle pattern. Marked with the Maltese cross, alongside a 'PACE' mark attributed to Geraldo Pace and two further assay marks. Length measures 7 1/2 inches (19.3 cm), weight 10.4 ozt (323.6 grams).

In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Each spoon is marked with the Maltese cross alongside a 'PACE' mark attributed to Geraldo Pace, four within a rectangular punch, two with a pointed rectangular punch. Each spoon also has a number mark within a circular punch, three marked '7', two marked '14' and one marked '4', alongside a further obscured mark.
