Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver lidded vanity pot, the circular tapered cut-glass pot with removable blue guilloche enamelled cover with finial. Hallmarked Charles S Green & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1913. Maximum height measuring 3 2/8 inches (8.3 cm).

In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some minor nibbles to the glass pot. The removable lid seems to move slightly within the inset rim of the pot. Minor compression to the underside of the cover from the finial. Hallmarks clear and legible.
