Lot Description
An Edwardian silver condiment set, including an open salt, mustard pot and pepper, each of oval wirework form with blue glass liners, together with an associated silver condiment spoon, hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1906, open salt and pepper dated 1907, condiment spoon hallmarked W S Savage & Co., Sheffield 1908, height of pepper measures 3 1/8 inches (8 cm). Together with an Edwardian imported silver open salt, the oval pierced form with floral, cross hatch and scroll motifs and blue glass liner, hallmarked Theodor Hartmann, London 1901, alongside the Foreign mark and Hanau Psuedo marks for Karl Kurz. Gross weight exclusive of liners 7 ozt (217.7 grams).

Condition Report
In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Slight crease to the cover of the mustard pot along the front of the hinge. Some dents to the wirework of the pepper with a split along the join to one section near the base. Remnants of polish and pepper visible. Some chips and nibbles to the glass liner of the pepper. There is some splits along the edge of the imported open salt. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible, partial hallmarks to other sections.
