An early twentieth century silver condiment set, comprising a pair of open salts with blue glass liners, a pair of peppers and a mustard pot with blue glass liner, each of circular form with shaped rim and raised upon three pad feet, hallmarked Oldfields Ltd., Birmingham 1918, height of pepper measures 2 6/8 inches (7.2 cm). Together with a pair of late Victorian silver casters, each of embossed waisted form with pierced removable cover and finial, hallmarked Chester 1899, a singular modern silver open salt and a silver caster. Gross weight exclusive of liners 8.8 ozt (275.5 grams).

Condition Report
In fair to good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The bowls of the open salts are heavily stained and tarnished, dirt residue visible to all pieces in the condiment set, the mustard pot has a bent back foot, one of the peppers have slightly bent feet causing it to appear shorter, no condiment spoons present. One caster has minor compression to the foot. The singular open salt is missing its liner. The singular caster is significantly tarnished with blue discolouration to the interior. Hallmarks rubbed and worn in places, majority still legible.
