Lot Description
A George V silver sauce boat of plain typical form, with high arch scroll capped handle, the whole raised upon three shell and hoof feet, hallmarked Birmingham 1912, maker's mark partly obscured possibly William Hutton & Sons Ltd., maximum height measuring 3 2/8 inches (8.2 cm). Together with two modern silver sauce boats, each of plain form with beaded or reeded rim border and curved handle, both raised upon an oval base, hallmarked Birmingham 1971 & 1990. Gross weight 12.8 ozt (400.5 grams). (3).

Condition Report
In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The George V has significant compression to the interior body from one of the back feet, signs of solder repairs around the handle and to the splits to the rim, heaver tarnishing around the edges. Hallmarks clear and legible on the modern examples, the maker's mark on the 1920's example is partly obscured but possibly William Hutton & Sons Ltd., other hallmarks legible.
