Lot Description

An Edwardian silver large bottle coaster, with oblique gadrooning to everted rim and arched openwork sides applied with a continuous band of fruiting vine, and a further leaf border to the foot rim. Hallmarked Pairpoint Brothers (John & Frank Pairpoint), London 1902. Outer rim diameter measuring 8 1/4 inches (21 cm), gross weight 22.98 ozt (714.6 grams).

The coaster is quite heavily tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish. Surface wear, marks and scratches, especially visible to the plain base and underside. A few minor surface dints. Residues of polish visible. Hallmarked to the foot rim and these are clear and legible. Does not appear to be hallmarked to any other part.
