A George III silver salver, the oval form having a dished rim with bead border, a centrally engraved armorial and claw and ball feet. In need of repair and restoration. Hallmarked London 1776, maker's mark indistinct. Length measuring 16 inches (40.5 cm), weight 35.4 ozt (1101 grams).

Condition Report
The salver is significantly damaged and in need of attention or specialist restoration. One leg and part of beaded rim has broken off and appears as if it had been previously repaired. Numerous other solder repairs around the join of the dished rim, visible to the underside. Various other surface marks, scratches and dints. Hallmarks a little rubbed but still clearly legible, a further probable maker's mark is indistinct.
