Condition Report
The tea service and tray appear in good overall condition, displaying some general expected surface wear, marks and scratches. There is also some tarnishing and all the pieces would benefit from a good clean. Some minor dints and bumps. Some heavier contact marks and scratches to the underside of the tray.
The teapot lid is quite loose and does not sit flush when closed. There is some movement to the hinge, which requires attention. There is also some slight movement to the coffee pot lid and it is quite a tight fit but hinges still appear in good working order.
The engraved decoration throughout appears in good overall condition.
Impressed maker's marks etc are a little rubbed or distorted but still mostly legible.
