Lot Description

An American spoon of Flemish pattern, with monogrammed terminal and engraved date verso, marked Tiffany & Co. Sterling Pat. 1911 m, length measures 5 7/8 inches (15 cm). Together with an American pusher spoon, of Reeded edge pattern with personally engraved terminal, marked Tiffany & Co. Sterling 1338 m, plus an unusual sauce boat with Niello decoration and engraved monogram, marked Sterling. Gross weight 4.1 ozt (127.9 grams). (3).

In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The reverse of the terminal on the Flemish pattern spoon is engraved 'Nov. 28. 1912', the rat-tail to the heel is slightly worn with minor loss of definition. The pusher spoon is engraved 'Elizabeth' to the terminal with heavier tarnishing underneath the curved stem and to the reeded decoration. The sauce boat is engraved with a monogram of a 'B' & 'J'. Marks clear and legible.
