A 1930's silver part canteen in Old English pattern, comprising six each of table forks, dessert forks and soup spoons, hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd., London 1934, one dessert fork dated 1935 and four soup spoons dated 1939. Together with a later table fork, soup spoon, dessert spoon and teaspoon, hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1968, soup spoon dated 1964, and two further teaspoons, hallmarks for Birmingham 1931 and 1953. Weight 43 ozt (1345.5 grams).
