An early Victorian silver table bell, of typical form with baluster handle and incised line border decoration, metal clapper. Hallmarked London 1846, maker's mark partly worn with letters H.L visible. Height measuring 5 1/8 inches (13 cm), gross weight 3.61 ozt (112.5 grams).

Condition Report
The bell displays some tarnishing and general surface wear, marks and scratches. Also some dints and bumps. Very visible repair around the join of the handle to the main body. Hallmarks clear and legible with some light rubbing. Maker's mark partly worn, letters H.L are visible but part of a letter above also visible.
