A French novelty silver figural case or holder, possibly modelled as Mr Punch with the upper body as the removable lid. French assay marks including boar guarantee marks to both parts. Height measures 5.7 cm, weight 7.76 grams.

Condition Report
The case appears quite tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish. Also displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches. Some rubbing and slight flattening to areas of the decoration, especially legs and feet. There appears to be a flood of solder just below the nose. The case could be a holder for a pencil or needles? Boar marks to both parts and further indistinct marks.
