An early twentieth century silver sovereign holder, the circular engine-turned form with vacant cartouche, the press release case opening to reveal an engine-turned sprung platform holder for a full sovereign. Hallmarked Dennison Watch Case Co., Birmingham 1912, numbered 35780. Diameter measures 3.5 cm, weight 32 grams.

Condition Report
In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The case shuts fully flush, the press release and sprung platform appear in good working order. The pin sticks out slightly on the suspension ring. Hallmarks clear and legible, also numbered 35780.
