Condition Report
In varied state, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The needle and thread case has minor bumps to the body with tarnish pots, signs of Verdigris around the rim of the lower part which causes the cover to not sit flush, the interior bobbin wheel has partial hallmarks and an interior compartment which is sealed by some sticky residue, can hear what appears to be needles inside when rattled, three silver thimbles of varying size and design sit on top of this. The George V bodkin case has a rotating swivel opening to one end and a removable cover to the other end. The miniature hand mirror is dented to the mount with loss of definition to the engine-turned decoration and vacant cartouche, the mirror plate is dirty around the edges. The trinket dish has minor creases and bumps and is engraved to the centre 'D. J?. J.M? R.B.C. Challenge Cup 1921 W.C.K'. The comb is missing some of its bristles. Various manicure tools have base metal components. Hallmarks rubbed and worn but majority still legible.
