A cased Edwardian silver presentation key, having a crown surmount and foliate scrolls surrounding later engraved panels to both sides. Hallmarked James Fenton & Co., Birmingham 1909. Length measuring 6 7/8 inches (17.5 cm), gross weight 3.32 ozt (103 grams). <p>
'Brithdir Boys Council School Opening Ceremony performed by Mrs M. Kathleen Vaughan in the absence of Lieut. E. W. S. Martin. M.B., C.C. 3oth August 1915.' <p>
