A 1920's silver cigarette case, of oblong form with engine-turned reeded decoration and vacant corner cartouche, opening to reveal a silver-gilt interior, hallmarked A Wilcox, Chester 1925. Width measures 3 5/8 inches (9.3 cm), weight 5.2 ozt (163.5 grams).

In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The interior band is missing. The case shuts fully flush and secure. No personal engravings to the corner cartouche. Hallmarks clear and legible.
