In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The combination case has a minor dent to the hinged cover for the sovereign holder, the sprung platform and press release appear in good working order. No personal engravings to the cartouche, some wear to the striker. Slight raise to the back of the case where the two compartments divide. Some scratched numbers and letters to the left of the full hallmarks. The pins on the suspension ring and the hinge for the sovereign holder stick out slightly. The singular silver vesta case shuts fully flush, some remnants of polish visible. Hallmarks clear and legible.
