Lot Description
A 1930's silver salver, of square form with applied floral border, corner shell motifs and personal inscription to the centre, the whole raised upon four circular feet, hallmarked Alexander Clark & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1931, width measures 10 1/2 inches (26.7 cm). Together with a further 1930's silver salver, of circular form with scalloped dolphin border interspersed with shell and fleur-de-lis motifs, the centre with personal inscription surrounding an inset medallion, hallmarked Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1936. Gross weight 37.5 ozt (1167.1 grams). (2).

Condition Report
In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The square salver is engraved 'Presented to Mr. K?. Vincent Everard by the Staff of Belliss & Morcom Ltd on the occasion of his marriage, 19th January 1935', it has a circular surface mark to the top, further marked 'Alex Clark Co Ltd London' to the base. The circular salver is engraved 'International Coronation Regatta Torbay 1937 - Under 9 Tons Handicap Points Prize - Won by A.Y. 'English Lass' F.O. Everard Esq', the inset medallion with 'Coronation His Majesty King George VI' to the front surrounding an embossed yacht with Britannia 1883-1936 beneath and 'International Regatta Torbay June 1937' to the reverse surrounding Royal profiles, one of the three feet covers a registration number. Hallmarks clear and legible.
