Lot Description

Two George IV Irish silver teaspoons, each of Fiddle pattern with rat-tail to the heel, hallmarked Thomas Farnett, Dublin 1827 and William Cummins, Dublin 1827. Together with an early Victorian Irish silver teaspoon, of Fiddle pattern with rat-tail to the heel and monogrammed terminal, hallmarked Peter Walsh, Dublin 1846, two silver wine labels with embossed shell borders, engraved 'Brandy' and 'Sherry', plus a stainless steel hipflask. Gross weighable silver 2.9 ozt (91 grams). (6).

In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The Thomas Farnett spoon is further marked 'Grays'. The Victorian spoon is further marked 'Gilbert', which also has sticky residue to the terminal from a sticker. Some minor loss of definition to the rat-tails. Heavier tarnishing to the bowls. The Brandy wine label also have sticky residue from a sticker. The hipflask is engraved 'St, George by Duffer' and marked 'Stainless Steel 4oz' to the base. Hallmarks slightly rubbed but still legible.
