In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The mechanism on the central ring handles opens the two hinged lids when the bar is pulled upwards, the handle can also be used to carry the box if held under the supporting bracket, in good working order, the two hinged lids also open independently and self support. The wood lining has expanded and lifted slightly on opposing sides to the interior. Maker's mark partly distorted across various sections, other hallmarks rubbed and worn but still just legible, further marked 'Asprey London' beneath the base.
