The 1966 example is engraved 'Presented by the Directors of Joseph Lucas Ltd to GEORGE SMITH in appreciation of 40 years loyal service 1967'. The 1979 example is engraved 'Presented to ALBERT PURSER SOLES in grateful appreciation of 40 years loyal service by the Directors of Lucas Industries 1979'. The 1979 example slightly wobbles on it feet, it also have a removable material tray and has a split to the wood lined interior along the hinge side, it comes with an outer cardboard box. Hallmarks clear and legible.
