Hallmarked Mappin & Webb (John Newton Mappin), London 1891, further marked with a French import mark. Diameter of pot base measures 3 6/8 inches (9.7 cm), length of stretchers measures 8 inches (20.5 cm). Gross weight 9.3 ozt (290.5 grams). (2).

Postage: Postable

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The powder pot and glove stretchers has some slight dints to the cartouches. Minor loss of definition to the hammered decoration on the pot, visible to both sides, possible repair. The glove stretchers are heavily tarnished to the pinchers which are in good working order. Both pieces would benefit from a clean and polish. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible, with a French import mark, further marked 'Mappin & Webb London'.
