Lot Description
A modern Irish silver teapot, of plain bellied form with serpentine rim border and ebonised curved wood handle, the hinged lid with foliate knopped finial, raised upon a circular stepped base. Hallmarked Alwright & Marshall Ltd., Dublin 1978. Height inclusive of finial measures 6 5/8 inches (17 cm), gross weight 20.7 ozt (646.2 grams).

Condition Report
In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Would benefit from a clean and polish. One side of the finial has possibly been filed down and smoothed off in between the two leaves. Some dark sticky residue/stains and remnants of stickers beneath the base. Maker's mark slightly rubbed but legible, other hallmarks clear, partial hallmarks to the lid.
