In varied state, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The enamelled hand mirror is missing its fixture pins to either side which appear to be loose inside the mount, some residue to the mirror plate. One of the enamelled hair brushes is missing a section of bristles, the other is missing its bristle section entirely. Minor chips and losses to the enamelled decoration around the edges. The engine-turned hand mirror has significant scattered marks across the mirror plate and some hardened black residue, the mount has some minor bumps, the matching hair brush has a significant split along the edge causing the mount to appear creased, further dents to the handle. All the bristles appear discoloured. One of the tortoiseshell mounted hair brushes is missing its applied pierced initial cartouche. Initials for 'SBH'. The tortoiseshell mounted hand mirror has a dry appearance and would benefit from a clean. One of the clothes brushes has multiple deep scratches to the tortoiseshell mount. Hallmarks rubbed and worn in places, most still legible. The material cover for the alligator case has several popper buttons around the edge which are either missing or have caused the cover to fray/split, it also appears stained with wear to the corners. This lot may have export issues, for customers outside of the EU, please note that it is the buyers responsibility to adhere to any import/export requirements.
