Lot Description

A 1940's silver sauce boat, the plain bellied form with moulded rim, scroll handle and raised on three stepped pad feet, hallmarked Robert Pringle & Sons, London 1945, length measuring 7 1/4 inches (18.5 cm). Together with a mid-twentieth century silver small cream jug and matching sugar bowl, hallmarked William Comyns & Sons Ltd., London 1958. Weight 15.32 ozt (476.5 grams). (3).

All three pieces display some tarnishing and general surface wear, marks and scratches. Small dint to one side of cream jug, Further minor dints including slight knocks around the foot rims of the jug and bowl. Floods of solder visible around joins of handles, on cream jug and sauce boat. Numerous heavier contact marks, nicks and scratches to interior of sugar bowl especially. Hallmarks are all clear and legible.
