Condition Report
In fair to good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The jewellery box wobbles slightly and generally appears lopsided because the feet are out of alignment, minor loss of definition to the rim border, the material lining is in poor condition with pieces missing and frayed, the indented compartments are not present, the hinged lid does not shut properly either. The table cigarette box is engraved 'Edward, From the Directors and Staff of David Matthews Limited on the occasion of your 70th birthday. 27th August, 1969.', and the hinged lid does not shut flush. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible.
