Lot Description

A novelty articulated figure of a fish, modelled as a koi carp with realistic details and inset red paste eyes. Appears unmarked, tests as silver. Length measuring 7 2/8 inches (17.5 cm), gross weight 2.9 ozt (90.8 grams).

In fair to good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The articulated sections appear to be in good working order. Visible signs of repair to the tail with small areas of solder around the outer edge and to the the tips of the scales, some of the lower layered scales are bent slightly with small losses. Some fluids of solder around the mouth, under the fins and to the lips. Minor dent to the head under the fin. There is a contact mark on the tail probably from a sticker. Appears unmarked, the head and tail test at around 98% silver and the body at 99%.
