Lot Description

A nineteenth century Russian silver-gilt shot cup, of circular tapered form with moulded rim and banded Niello decoration. Marked 84 alongside a partly distorted Assay Masters mark for 'A. K over 18??' and a further Cyrillic maker's mark. Height measuring 4.7 cm, weight 45.5 grams.

In fair to good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The gilding on the exterior appears slightly duller to the interior. Some residue to the interior. Marks rubbed and worn, some partially visible.
