In varied state, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some of the blades are slightly creased in places or appear a bit thin with some areas of discolouration. Majority appear in good working order in terms of the folding function. The faux leather case has minor scuffs and wear around the edges, the interior compartment is more worn. The George IV knife is engraved 'R. Harris' to the blade. The Victorian knife has a William IV monarch head but in keeping with the 1839 date. The engraved inscriptions to the cartouche or blades include various names and initials. Knives with full hallmarks appear generally clear and legible, partially marked knives are slightly rubbed and worn.
