Lot Description
A selection of twenty eight early twentieth century mother-of-pearl and silver folding knives, mainly George V, of varying shape and design, majority with plain handles, some engraved with floral and foliate motifs, four with engraved personal inscriptions or initials to the cartouches. Hallmarks for Birmingham and Sheffield, various dates and maker's marks including William Needham and James Deakin & Sons (John & William F Deakin). (28).

Condition Report
In varied state, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some of the blades are slightly creased in places or appear a bit thin, one has a full serrated edge, one with a part serrated edge. Majority appear in good working order in terms of the folding function. The engraved inscriptions to the cartouche or blades include various names and initials. Some sticky residue to the handles. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible. This lot may have export issues, for customers outside of the EU, please note that it is the buyers responsibility to adhere to any import/export requirements.
