Lot Description

A small pair of modern silver mounted salt and pepper mills, each of typical plain baluster form. Hallmarked M C Hersey & Son Ltd., London 1998. Height measuring 2 5/8 inches (7 cm).

In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. They have 'Peter Piper' grinder components visible beneath the bases. Some discolouration to the finial on the salt mill. Maker's mark slightly worn but legible, other hallmarks clear, partial hallmarks to various sections with the exception of the finials.
