Lot Description

A Stuart Devlin silver-gilt surprise egg, the overlapping textured cover opening to reveal an enamelled ground with sprung tortoise and floral sprigs, contained within a fitted case, hallmarked Stuart Devlin, London 1979, numbered 39, height measuring 7.3 cm. Together with a further Stuart Devlin silver-gilt surprise egg, the flat chased cover depicting mountains beneath the stars, opening to reveal two figures walking and carrying sacks, contained within a fitted case, hallmarked Stuart Devlin, London 1987, numbered 70, height measuring 6.2 cm. (2).
