Lot Description

An early twentieth century pair of silver grape scissors, with loop terminals and fluted stems with vacant twin cartouches. Hallmarked James Dixon & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1915. Length measuring 5 5/8 inches (14.3 cm), weight 2.4 ozt (77.5 grams).

In fair to good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Visible signs of crude repair around the swivel hinge which appears slightly loose with the fixture pin sticking out. The blades also do not shut/align properly. Hallmarks clear and legible.
