Lot Description

A 1930's pair of silver-gilt scissors, the loop ring handles with foliate motifs, contained within a fitted case. Hallmarked Fattorini & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1935. Length measuring 6 3/8 inches (16.5 cm), weight 2.6 ozt (82.5 grams).

In good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The gilding has started to wear away slightly on the blades and around the loop handles. Minor scuffs to the fitted case. Hallmarks clear and legible, partial hallmarks to various sections.
