Lot Description

A 1930's novelty silver table lighter modelled as Aladdin's Lamp, with removable liner and tool with flame finial and the handle terminating in a zoomorphic head. Hallmarked Beddoes & Co., Birmingham 1930. Maximum length measuring 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cm), weight 3.81 ozt (118.6 grams).

Appears in good overall condition, displaying some expected tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. A few surface dints, mostly notable to the wick holder end of the body. Hallmarks located to foot rim, slightly clipped across the top but still clearly legible. Part hallmarks to liners and wick holder.
