Lot Description
A continental cigarette case, of oblong form with heavily embossed trailing foliate motifs within a beaded shell border to the top and hammered decoration to the base, stamped 800 alongside a possible maker's mark 'D K', width measuring 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm). Together with a small pebble snuff box, the hinged lid with an embossed figural scene surrounded by a foliate border, appears unmarked. Gross weight 4 ozt (126 grams). (2).

Condition Report
In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The cigarette case is missing its elastic bands to the interior. The hinged lid of the pebble snuff box does not shut fully flush, minor loss of definition to the embossed figural scene. Mark on the cigarette case clear and legible.
