Lot Description

An early Victorian silver vinaigrette, of oblong scalloped form with engraved foliate scrolls surrounding an enclosed monogrammed cartouche, opening to reveal a silver-gilt interior with floral pierced grille. Hallmarked Francis Clark, Birmingham, date letter partly distorted probably 1843. Width measuring 3.3 cm, weight 12.6 grams.
