A George III silver stilton scoop with carved and shaped ivory handle. Hallmarked Thomas Peacock, London 1800. Length measuring 11 1/2 inches (29 cm).

The scoop appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying expected surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Also minor surface nicks and some tarnishing to silver section. Some heavier wear visible around the curved edge of the scoop. Minor crazing/cracks to ivory, mainly towards the join. Hallmarks and maker's mark are clear and legible.
