An Art Nouveau silver dish of fluted oval form with central personal inscription. Hallmarked J Rodgers & Sons Ltd, Sheffield, date letter indistinct. Length measuring 12 inches (30.5 cm), weight 10.7 ozt (333 grams).

Condition Report
In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The inscription reads 'With Best Wishes From The Staff at 13 Castle St 1910'. Heavier tarnishing in between the decoration beneath the base. Date letter is indistinct as it is significantly worn, lion passant and town mark also rubbed but legible, maker's mark clear, alongside a pictorial mark. Further marked 'Penlington & Batty Liverpool' beneath the base.
